Diffuser Safety + Use
Diffuser Safety Tips:
- Our diffusers contain flammable liquid – please handle with care
- Do not light the reeds
- Do not ingest
- If you suffer from perfume sensitivity, you should use caution when using our diffusers
- Do not place diffusers where children or pets can reach them
- If oil is spilled, clean up immediately
- Please be aware that the fragrance oil can cause damage to surfaces when spilled
- We advise that our diffusers are placed on a suitable base to protect surfaces
- If the fragrance oil gets onto your skin, please wash immediately
- We advise that gloves should be used when handling the oil infused reeds (to prevent skin sensitivity)
Diffuser Use Tips:
- Diffusers are designed to throw a subtle fragrance in a small area. If you are placing a diffuser in a large room, please be aware that you may need to purchase additional diffusers to fill the room with scent
- We recommend the use of candles or wax melts as another way to enhance the intensity of the fragrance in a room
- Diffusers work best with air flowing around them, so place in an area with air movement – a high traffic area is best
- Diffusers will smell stronger in warm temperatures, and will evaporate more quickly
- Do not place on windowsills that get direct sunlight, or above radiators, as this will cause the fragrance to evaporate more quickly
- Do not place the diffuser where the reeds can touch any walls – oil will stain the wall paintwork or wallpaper
- You can adjust how much fragrance is released by how many reeds are used. Removing fibre reeds will reduce scent strength
Wax Melt Safety + Use
Wax Melt Safety Tips:
- Remove all packaging from the wax melt (our packaging is recyclable)
- Wax melts should only be used in appropriate wax melt burners (10cm gap between the top of the tea light and base of the burner base) and never in an oil burner!
- Place the wax melt burner on a level, flat, cool, heat-resistant surface away from draughts, other heat sources and flammable objects. If used on a non-heat resistant surface damage may occur if the wax melt burner is used without a protective plate, tray or similar product
- When adding wax melts, the size and depth of the bowl should be considered to avoid wax overflowing the dish as it melts
- Always use within sight, and never leave unattended
- Don’t leave children and/or pets alone in rooms with lit candles or melted wax
- Wax will remain hot after the tea light has been extinguished or your electric burner has been switched off
- Keep wax pool free of debris as this can become flammable
- Do not try to move the wax melter until it has cooled completely, and the wax has solidified
- Only use standard sized unscented tea lights (burn time is approx 4hrs). Never use the larger 8hr tea lights and never use more than one tealight at a time
- Do not eat the wax melt
- Do not mix fragrances
Wax Melt Use Tips:
- The strength of your scent will depend on the size of your room and the position of the burner
- Never add water to your wax melt burner
- Never add fragrance oil to the wax melt burner
- Only use un-fragranced tea lights to melt your wax melts
- Only use a maximum of 4hr tea lights (anything higher will overheat the wax, burn the fragrance off more quickly and may cause the wax burner to crack)
- The wax in the burner will not evaporate like a candle, the scent will eventually burn off
- Leave the wax to fully harden before using again
- You can remelt the wax several times until the fragrance has evaporated
- Do not use metal objects to pry out hardened wax or put the burner in the freezer, as this may crack the burner
- To replace the wax, light a tea light to slightly soften the wax. Using kitchen roll, soak up the melted wax and dispose in the bin. Clean the wax melter with hot soapy water, dry and place a new wax melt in the burner dish
- Dispose of wax carefully, and NEVER pour melted wax down the sink

What is CLP
CLP stands for Classification, Labelling + Packaging.
• CLP Regulations state that since 1st June 2015, all new products with hazardous substances must be labelled accordingly in the UK and EU.
• We provide our CLP information on all of our diffusers (base of vessel and outer packaging), room sprays (back of bottle), hand + body lotions (back of bottle) and our wax melts (on the reverse of our glassine bags and on the reverse of our external packaging).
• Trading Standards advise that CLP labelling should be visible on all products.
What do your products contain?
Diffusers:
• We use Augeo® Clean Multi as the base for our reed diffusers. Augeo is a high-quality diffuser base made predominantly from renewable raw materials and is specifically suited to carrying fragrance.
• It has excellent solubilising properties, a low odour and a controlled evaporation rate, helping our diffusers deliver a long-lasting and consistent fragrance.
• Unlike some traditional diffuser bases, Augeo evaporates fully and its very low odour allows the character of the fragrance itself to come through beautifully.
• Augeo also offers a lower-carbon alternative to several comparable traditional solvents, making it an excellent choice for our home fragrance range.
• Our carefully selected fragrance oils are sourced from high-quality UK distributors and blended with our Augeo base to create our finished reed diffusers.
Wax Melts:
• Our wax melts are made from a blend of soy and other natural waxes, specifically selected for excellent fragrance release.
